I read the other negative reviews but stuck with it as it’s the right size for me. It is nice and big! However, as some others have said, this is a poor ikea product. The wood is poor quality (splintered, knotty, holes, needs sanding), you get too many shelves in the pack so you have 4 spare (or you could use 3 for another level), and the metal crossbar doesn’t fit as the screws are too small for the pre-drilled shelving holes (I tried to fudge it with wall plugs but I wouldn’t say it was safe). It seems very overpriced for 4 uprights and 12 shelves. I asked for a refund but was told I need to dismantle it and wait for collection. Well, after hours sanding & fudging, I need to move on with my life! Maybe I’ll paint it at some point… Go for the Ivar, save yourselves!
